Julia Rowlands

Born in Essex, Julia Rowlands has had a successful international career in Munich where she lived for 10 years exhibiting in numerous solo and group shows. At this time she collaborated on architectural partnership projects, appointed private and public fine art commissions, portraits and landscape, led fine art holidays and taught at Volkshochschule. Much of her work is in private and public collections in UK and Europe.

She studied at Falmouth which inspired a return to Cornwall in 2005 producing a sell out show of the local landscape. She lives in Falmouth and is based at Krowji artists studios in Redruth.

Selected for The Battle Contemporary Fine Art Fair 2010, she was awarded ‘Best Painting’. This selected exhibition had an esteemed board of judges chaired by CAV OMRI Romeo Di Girolamo PPRBA, supported by Megan Di Girolamo RBA RBS and Guy Portelli VPRBA RBS and for the judging, Polly Gifford, Head of Education at the iconic De La Warr Pavilion.
